Retirement Planning

It’s easy to think of retirement as something that is a long way off, and it can be difficult to envision what life may look like years or decades into the future. As a result, American workers are largely unprepared for retirement.

40% of Baby Boomers expecting Social Security to be their primary source of income, and  78% of Gen X is concerned that Social Security will not be there for them when they are ready to retire – according to the 2022 Transamerica Center For Retirement Study.

Your Biggest Goal

Financial independence in retirement is the biggest goal our clients share, and one that requires careful planning. Retirement planning includes projections on the likelihood of achieving a financial goal(s).

For situations where projections show more or less than the desired results, we’ll work together to adjust your plan and view the impact on those projections by changing certain variables (i.e., retiring earlier/working longer, saving less/saving more, spending more/spending less, taking less/more risks with investments).

Having a sound, up-to-date financial plan for retirement means we are consistently working together to answer questions like:

  • What can I do to increase the chances that I won’t outlive my money?
  • How can I maintain my lifestyle in retirement?
  • How do I avoid getting locked into a high tax bracket for the rest of my life?
  • How can I maximize the wealth I share with future generations and the causes I support?
  • Do I have the most tax-efficient retirement plan in place?

Implement, Monitor, Repeat

Our work doesn’t stop there, as we continually address your ever-evolving needs. We closely monitor changes in market performance, inflation, taxes and legislative updates that may impact your plan and its long-term success.
